Our hybrid position offers the option for both in-person and remote work (after a 90-day probationary period).
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for checking clients in and out, answering and returning phone calls, scheduling appointments, following up with clients, e-mailing, scanning and virtual faxing, light cleaning, and assisting the doctor with various tasks.
We're looking for someone with prior experience in a medical/mental health or other professional setting and is familiar with or willing to learn the strict guidelines of HIPAA, confidentiality, privacy, etc.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and proficient with the internet, smartphones, computers, and basic office equipment.
You'll be working with individuals of all different backgrounds, ages, genders, and disabilities, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable interacting with a diverse population and can maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
You'll also have the opportunity to assist with proofreading documents, editing, and managing sensitive documents.
The position requires reliable transportation, punctuality, and the ability to stand for one hour or more and lift up to 35 pounds if necessary.
Most communication with the office manager, the doctor, and clients will be done by e-mail, text, and phone calls, so you should be comfortable with remote communication and in-person.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
