Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Martin Medical Center - Port St Lucie

Interviews patients, obtains and records health histories, completes physical and developmental assessments, diagnoses health problems, manages the health care of those patients for which he/she has been educated, provides health care teaching and counseling, initiates referrals and maintains health records.
Coordinates and assists with the onsite care of the patient and family with an MD/DO that is located remotely.
Serves as a liaison for partnership hospitals in the region to coordinate care with the assistance of the ACS team.
Provides medical and advanced practice nursing care to pediatric patients as guided by education, clinical expertise, and collaborative agreement.
Elicits comprehensive or focused/interval health history(ies).
Performs complete or interim physical examinations as indicated by the nature of the encounter.
Orders, performs, and/or interprets diagnostic or screening tests, including laboratory, radiological or other tests.
Plans interventions including medications, treatments, and procedures, and modifies plans based on evaluation of patient response.
Initiates, monitors, alters, or orders medications related to conditions or illnesses being treated within applicable divisions.
Refers clients to other health care professionals and agencies as appropriate for specialized services, including but not limited to:
other medical subspecialists, physical and occupational therapy, nutritional counseling and management, special education, growth and developmental/behavioral counseling.
Develops or approves in-school management plans for patients as appropriate.
Makes dietary, activity/exercise, counseling, education, and health promotion recommendations within the APRN or physician assistant scope of practice.
Identifies patient and family learning needs and directs educational activities or provides educational materials to meet these needs.
Provides consultative and education resources to direct care nurses to improve patient outcomes by enhancing nursing knowledge.
Initiates any other measure for which the APRN has been trained depending on patient's condition and judgment of the physician and the APRN.
Documents the above activities in the Electronic Medical Record in collaboration with the MD/DO.
Complies with the HIPAA Regulations.
Complies with OSHA/Safety Regulations.
Adheres to Nemours Customer Service Standards of Performance.
Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
