Responsibilities:
Educating patients on cannabis, different methods of cannabis Educating patients on the application process and legalities if neededHelp with daily tasks such as welcome calls, following up on records requests and welcome calls Reviewing records for qualifying conditions Prepping charts in CRM / EMR for upcoming appointments Entering patients into The Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry Entering orders for qualifying patients Completing necessary legal forms for patients the day of their appointment Obtaining patients medical history for the doctor Staying up to date to dispensaries and cannabis education Manage and assist with our Wellness retail line Skills/Education:
Previous Medical Assistant experience in the cannabis industry is strongly preferred General knowledge of medical cannabis Experience with our patient management software, Acuity, is desired but not required.
Retail experience a plus Minimum of a High School Diploma is required Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Customer service is essential Strong computer, data entry and office management skills Self motivated Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Detailed Oriented Thrives in a fast paced environment Team Player Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
Must have general knowledge of medical cannabis.
Experience:
Previous Medical Assistant experience in the cannabis industry is strongly preferred.
