Custom 1956 R69 BMW.
This bike has had several different fairing and seat combinations over the years, but has been in this basic configuration since the early 1960s.
It has a lightened fly wheel, and custom manifolds that mount 900 series Amal concentric carburetors.
It has a very tall 32/11 rear end so you're turning very few RPM at highway speed.
I have the regular original dual seat that Mounts in place of the caf racer seat.
I also have two custom gauges that were built in the early 60s for doing diagnostic work on BMWs that are part of the package.
I also am including the original diecast models and three sets of manifolds for the Amal carburetor mounts.
This also has a hand made nacelle mounting both tach and speedo.
Everything works on the bike with the exception of the tachometer and that's because I do not have the drive unit for it.
The previous owner kept the drive unit and I've never run it hard enough to really need the tach so I've not invested in one even though they are available.
My knees kept me from riding this bike for a while now.
I have installed a new battery and rebuilt the carbs and changed all the oils.
Second kick start as always.
I rode it a couple of miles and all seems normal.
This is a very strong performer and a lot of fun in the mountains.
Here's your opportunity to have a unique and eye-catching vintage BMW.
